Redhook 2004

Second competition, no awards but lots of fun.

They had to split us up because of the pasture size so the big pits were on the hill.

Best chicken I have ever BBQ'd, did not place.

They may look nice but they bounced. Did not place.

I ended up placing in every event. Including first in ribs which helped me win Reserve Grand Champion. What a day!!

Fall Fisherman's Festival  in Ballard 2004

7am at the Fisherman's Terminal.

I learned alot being setup between Brown Dog BBQ and Judy "Mad Mama and the kids".

It was thier first cookoff. They had fun.

The coolest booth at the festival, a local model boat club.

Grilled salmon with habenero butter and lime sauce. Did not place.

Grilled halibut with lemon, garlic and rosemary. Did not place.

Poulsbo Washington

There were twenty five teams at this event.

Uncle Granpa BBQ , friendliest booth winner "well deserved".

Tri tip was cooked perfectly but it picked up to much charcoal flavor.

First place chicken and ribs with a second place in sausage which gave me enough points to win Grand Champion.

By winning Grand Champion I am eligible to compete in the Kansas City Royal BBQ competition.

New Years Eve ribroast.

They were tasty and fall off the bone "thats how I like em".

I did eight racks of ribs out camping, I forgot to trim the ends so they got a little burnt but they were good in between.
